Ο M. C. Escher ήταν Ολλανδός καλλιτέχνης γραφικών σχεδίων. Στα έργα του περιλαμβάνονται (μεταξύ άλλων) σχέδια με ζώα, πρόσωπα κα, τα οποία ταιριάζουν μεταξύ τους σε επαναλαμβανόμενα μοτίβα και γεμίζουν το επίπεδο χωρίς κενά ή επικαλύψεις.
M. C. Escher was a Dutch graphic artist. His work includes (among others) designs featuring animals, persons, etc, which can fit together in repetitive patterns and they fill the 2D plane, without gaps or overlaps.
